Okay, I found a church in the Phillipines that needs a few computers, and thought I'd wipe the drives of these CF-H1's and put a simple operating system on them. Mint loads perfectly via the dock/cradle with usb keyboard, external cd/dvd burner, power, etc. However, I'd like to have touchscreen load like on my CF-C1 using Windows 7. I started searching and found this link:
Alternatives This is interesting, especially to physically challenged people.
I loaded "onboard" via software manager, but can only get it to work using the external keyboard and CF-H1 docked.
I would like to have a keyboard program load during boot, that allows me to use the touchscreen keyboard to input user name and password, and then use the system WITHOUT the cradle...etc.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Best regards....Cleve:hi2:

No help here...is why my H1's are in Arizona now.
I did have a semblance of success so it's not entirely out of the question. just real frustrating. The keyboard must load with the password screen....SIMPLE passwords.
Good luck...busy but if I think of aught I'll post back. :hi2:
Hey...do you still have our early day posts re:H1? Might be something there. -
Thanks "Lefty", once again you are Right...I mintifyed all three with Mint15Mate, and they all work well in the cradle.
Touchscreen also works with stylus. They are being loaded up as we speak to be shipped to the Phillipines.
I think they'll be fine as a desktop using the cradle/keyboard/mouse/etc...
Take care and thanks again!
