The main Panny web site for downloading drivers is down, and they do not know when it will be back up for me to download the Gobi Application Selection software. Does anybody have a copy of this? Thanks so much!!!!!

I know... I just loaded W7 to try it out on a 1.3GHz CF-29.... I need the drivers for it. I found it on another site but I'm still leery. The hotkey drivers won't load.

Did you already get your new 30?

Lemmie know if you have any luck with that windows 7 load on the cf-29. I tried it last week on my cf-29 mk1 , it loaded but couldn't get the touch screen running or the hot keys, worked on it for 3 days but finally gave up
good luck

Yep, I got it today. Just my luck too, I can't load the Gobi until Panny finsihes doing whatever they are doing to there support pages.
I called tech support and he said that the U.S site is the only one that has the application/driver that I need for the Gobi. I have searched on every site that you have for Panasonic drivers, no luck. maybe it will be up tommorow.
The puter is in mint shape as he described. It did not come with a stylus though? Is that something you have to buy on top of getting a touch model I wonder? I really could not be happier with it though, it is defintley different from my MK2. Much faster, the BIOS is a whole different ball game. Alot more features and selections to choose thru.
I am going to spend some time Sunday playing around with the touch and tablet stuff. Hopefully I can get the driver I need.
Thanks -
I don't know if this is of any help with you guys with CF-18's and CF-29's, but in the driver of the CF-19 there is a batch file I had to run after the driver install to get the buttons working that is located in the buttons driver folder. Also if you have drivers that are .exe's you may want to try to run the driver in Windows XP Compatibility mode or with Vista Drivers, Vista Compatibility mode. To do this, right click the EXE and click the Compatibility mode tab, put a check mark in Run in Compatibility Mode, choose the OS you want to try in the drop down box, the click Apply then OK.
I am presently running Windows 7 RTM on my CF-19 with digitaizer without any real problems. The only thing that doesn't work is the automatic screen rotation when I flip the screen into tablet mode. It was also like this with Windows Vista. Since the front buttons work this is no real big issue for me.
Hope this helps... -
Thank you for the advice. I will try that and see if my screen control works from there.

I tried running in XP compatibility mode. After reboot it says that the driver is no good.
If you just click on the driver to have it unpack... It won't work. I used WinRAR to unpack the drivers and then used either the setup or device manager to install as needed. Some worked fine... But the sound is VERY low for some reason. Volume up/down doesn't help. The video driver installed but still has the "?" by it saying that it doesn't work with W7... Hotkeys = No Worky.... Nothing, nada, nyet...
