    I am looking to install Ubuntu on my CF27 but bios is too old, need to upate to 2000 or newer. cf27rj48aam .

    I have the same problem, I have the latest bios update ver. 4.00L10 release date 2002/2/1 and I still get the bios prior to 1999 error message when loading Linux Mint or DSL.
