So I have owned the Vaio Z, Macbook Pro, and other laptops a like.

But this toughbook y7, is an incredibly neat machine.

14" display with 1400x1050 display in a 4:3 format that is ANTIGLARE (WOW!)

    3-5 HOUR battery life

Lightweight, durable and looks pretty nice.

Great keyboard with incredible tactile feedback.

Is there any other Panasonic laptop or any other manufacturer that produces a notebook with the same features, but with updated CPU/GPU/Expansion abilities???

I feel as if this is better than macbook retina in so many ways. Obviously, the retina will blow this out of the water with respect to performance and looks, but this is a nice little gadget.

Take a look at the CF-F8. I just bought one so I don't have it yet,it's for resale but I know it is a T8600 c2d 2.26 and is their next ultra lightweight laptop after the Y7.

I sold a new Y7 and it was a neat machine.

Also look up the Let's note series. That is business notebooks from Panasonic in Japan is called. They have some models we don't get in the USA.
