I just got a MC7700 Sierra Wireless branded Airprime for use in my CF-31J. I assumed that this was a GSM based card and would have a SIM card slot. But instead, I have an IMEI#, is it really CDMA?
What am I missing?

Deploy on the fastest LTE networks with standards-based modules.
The EM & MC Series offer unprecedented LTE speeds, bandwidth, and network performance on PCI Express Mini Card (MC Series) and M.2 (EM Series) form factors commonly used in networking equipment.

Thanks, but I see no way for a a SIM to interface with this card and like said, it has an IMEI. I looked at the white paper released by the company and they talking about the design parameters for a SIM interface, but that does me no good.

Maybe get a USB 3.0 version of that card, and use the service that way?
I have had that happen before, I need to swap the card back to the service for a USB interface (or other interface). -
can you post a picture of the left hand (cd/dvd drive side) of the machine ...
what is behind the port/drive cover ? -
No problem

i was curious to see if the OP had the same set-up on that side as a factory/my set-up .

Perhaps I should actually read the user's manual?Shawn, toughasnails and hmscott like this. -
Now the biggest question is, is this card carrier locked!?
Because, if it is not, I intend to try one of the AT&T resellers Data Plans, they are a good bit cheaper I have noticed, as they are Pre-paid and in our now upside-down world, good credit should be punished with higher rates!
If it is locked, well that is one more hurdle to jump... -
