I like this unit very much coz its very portable and the best thing i can play on it. I mean i can customize the unit starting from its design color combination and then probably installing gps and wi-fi with bluetooth.By the way I have a fujitsu P7010D with 10.6" widescreen that i am using ocassionally, i even have cf-28 with builtin wi-fi, 1GHz cpu, touchscreen,DvD/cd-rw that maybe i will list for an auction on ebay sooner or later. Right now i have a lot of pc collection and thanks anyway or maybe you can help me find an internal gps for cf-m34.

i think the m34 is a great looking machine, once it has been hacked and turned into a super wardriving beast!!!!!!!!!!!

why not just use a bluetooth gps reciever???????
try looking for a bluetooth card which fit nicely into the pcmcia slot so its out the way............
its a cheaper and better option then getting the original gps reciever that came with the m34.........

download the xp touchscreen driver for cf-m34 @ panasonic website; extract it to a folder, go to a folder and run the setup during setup you will notice that it is set to "COM 1" change it to "COM 3" and follow instruction until its done and your ready to go. good luck.

Same as what happen to me first time; i reformat the hdd install clean copy of windows xp but when i install the toucscreen driver it does't work. I spend almost a day before i figure it out. Don't install the MK1 touchscreen driver or else your gonna have a blue screen or crash the system and your gonna reinstall the windows again

Thanks for the help. I downloaded the UPDD driver for my m34 the ja version but there is not com 3 option, only com 1 and com 2, so i added a custom one fromthe info in the bios. but it doesnt work. any other ideas or am i missing something.

Does it have anything to do with SP2. I didn't start with XP service pack 1.

Also, do i update the PS/2 compatible mouse with the touchpad first or just do the touchscreen install?

Oh! sorry, I've got MK5 and yours only MK2.How about to set to auto if there is an option instead of com3 or try all of them. Also you have to update the mouse to touchpad. After installing the touchscreen dont forget to calibrate to function it properly.

If it still doesn't work, ask the expert DJACID.
