    Hi all,

The die has been cast: I'm going for a brand new CF-31. The only possible snag is that I need Mac OS X for a number of applications (and to be honest, I still prefer it to the alternatives). Moreover, I'd really, really like to do all my work on one (properly backed up) machine. At the moment I'm using both a CF-29 (running Ubuntu 11.04 quite admirably) and a MacBook (the last white generation).

My question, therefore is: does anyone have any experience running OS X in whatever form (i.e., either as a hackintosh or a VM) on a CF-31 and if so, is it doable? I'm obviously not going to use it for gaming, but I'd like the system to be 'snappy' enough not to be continually frustrated by slowness. Some googling reveals that the Hackintosh option, although preferable, isn't currently possible, so it's going to have to be a VM.

Also, any tips for extra options on my CF-31 would be appreciated: what sort of memory to use, VM configuration, and so on.

    Thanks in advance, Ilja
