    Micro-USB 3.0 or SDXC card?

    A question for experienced users out there. If you had to choose between these two media, which would you pick? Leaving aside the fact that most all machines have USB ports, whereas only a few have SD card slots, is one likely to be more reliable over the long haul for everyday back ups and storage? Thanks.

    My wife has a SanDisk Ultra Fit USB (16GB) and a 128GB SDXC in her CF-31. They are rarely removed. Both are used for overflow files and pictures. I think insert and removal is the toughest thing on these devices.
    She and I both have SanDisk Readers in the PC port as well. For our digital cameras.
    When you said micro-usb I thought of cell phone charging cable.

    FWIW this PCMCIA reader works great. Saves wear and tear on the USB ports too. flash.jpg
