Hi
surfing ebay I found this device GPS Receiver
Wouldn't it be good to hack it for locating it inside a CF-19 screenside cover (or top cover or inside the GPS lateral location).
Finding a suitable 3,3V source for the bluetooth would be the most difficult task... mmmh, maybe not the only one!

There is enough 3.3V inside ur tb :),
BUT the biggest problem is the antenna location.
And it is not necessary to use RF for the communication of devices inside of an laptop.
Have a look into the threads in this forum and u will find a lot of solutions, how well or not someone solved the internal GPS reception.

Yeah, I've read many threads about the internal GPS solutions, but this one seemed very easy to realize: just power it and you're ready to go!

The size, according to the SD Bluetooth GPS RECEIVER SDG-812 specs, is 62 mm x 24 mm x 2.1 mm (or, more conventionally: 2.44" x .945" x .083").

Sounds like it could fairly easily be integrated into the lid of a CF-29.

The price isn't too bad, either: $63.35 from this source.

Hey, Toughbook! :notworthy:
