Hi Guys,
Just wondering if any of you have managed to get MobiLink working on the CF-19 under Windows 7. I seem to be having trouble and have yet to find any updated Panasonic drivers... if anyone knows of a workaround or some Panasonic drivers I have yet to find I'd be grateful to know.
At the moment I try and install my old drivers and the software installation rolls back before completing. It's no big problem at the moment as I can get by using 3G over bluetooth with a mobile phone, but I would like to fix this at some point.
Another bit of software I have tried (on the Novatel Wireless site) looks well and good, and loads up but does not seem to recognise when I put the SIM in and just tells me SIM NOT FOUND.
Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards.

I've got this cracked now, but unfortunately it was my own stupidity that was getting in the way of it working, and eventually I didn't need the official Panasonic drivers at all (The Panasonic XP - possibly Vista - drivers rolled back mid installation. Which if you are interested can be corrected by using the following guide IBM - Disable Microsoft Installer (MSI) rollback during TSM Client installation)
I found a link on the oqotalk.net forum - Windows 7 Novatel Mobilink software WORKING - which links to Downloads: Novatel Wireless Merlin™ XU870 3G 7.2 ExpressCard/34 - HSDPA/UTMS. I installed the Windows Vista MobiLink Connection Manager & Driver Installer and shut down my computer. I then installed the SIM card and started the computer and all worked well, the SIM card was recognised!
I think the most important step is shutting down your computer completely (i.e. not just restarting) and then inserting the SIM card with the power off. I tried all sorts before finding this, including switching the WWAN off with the wireless switch utility and simply rebooting.
For those of you that have dedicated data SIMs that you leave in the computer this probably won't be a problem. Unfortunately, my data and voice SIM are the same, so I was hoping I'd be able to pop it out of the phone when needed and straight in the CF-19. I still can, it just takes a bit longer than I originally hoped, to shut down and start-up again.
Anyway, I hope this is useful to someone.
