    Model # for a CF-18N Battery

    Anyone know what battery model numbers will work will for a CF-18N.

    Not sure if the N model takes a special battery or not, but most of the battery listings I see say good for models up to K.

    Any thoughts

    The battery models for the CF-18 are : CF-VZSU30 (blue tab), CF-VZSU30A (yellow tab) & CF-VZSU30B (orange/red tab). Any one will work with any CF-18 model . The batteries are physically identical, the only difference (besides the tab color) is the capacity. Yellow tab capacity is 7.05Ah. Orange tab capacity is 7.65Ah. In normal use, I find the extra capacity translates to an extra hour of run time.

    Cf-VZSU30A (7.05 Ah) or ...30B (7.65 Ah) both 7.4 volts and, as far as I know, otherwise identical. My N model has a ..30B in it. Oops, just noticed Waterproof had posted while I was still typing
