The CF-28 600mhz came in the mail this morning. So far I like it but am having a horrible time finding the model number. On the back sticker all it says is CF-28. Under systems information, same thing CF-28.

I guess it's not all that important as the sys info shows everything it has on it but it's one of those things that's bugging me. Any idea where else I would look for that number? Thanks. Stiffnecked Scott

With my 800mhz, the full model number shows in the bios - F2 at boot up in the Panasonic screen. Have you tried that?
There should be a number starting CF28M------

No, I haven't. This is new stuff to me. It took me a minute to figure out that key lock looking switch was also the power on device....

If it only took you a minute, you were quicker on the uptake than I was.

I tried that. On the main BIOS screen it doesn't list anything about model numbers. Just the usual stuff.

When rebooting, hit F2 to enter the Bios screen. On the main screen, first line reads Model No: CF-28xxxxxxx; below that is your serial no, bios version, then sytem time/date and so forth. Hope this helps.

The 600MHZ units do not show model and serial in the BIOS so the lack of that information tells you that you have the 600mhz for sure.
