This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    This is something that I did more than 2 years ago with my Scion xB... I have a 3G router... but when it got really cold or hot out it didn't work right... Wonder if this rugged one works better. Also its 450-500kbps, which is dog crap slow... they must be using ATT's slow 3G or something, because Sprint and Verizon is **** faster than 500kbps... I know that for a fact because I have a Sprint REVa card built into my Toughbook!

    $499...$399 on promotion? That thing looks like a Cradlepoint ( http://www.cradlepoint.com/) router with an aircard built into a plastic case...
