Is there a beast as a multi touch cf19 or are these sellers mistaken and it's a dual touch?

10.1" XGA sunlight-viewable LED 1024 x 768 – Resistive touchscreen – 5-point resistive multi touch + digitizer TransflectivePlus and Panasonic CircuLumin™ technology 1-6000 nit (depending on lighting conditions and settings)

I have been looking for screen diagrams for my mk6 and had been finding mk6 and 7 screens as the same but now I'm confused?
If the screens are the same would this just be a software difference?

So it is a thing. Interesting. What makes it more interesting is the fact that the touch mk6 and 7 screens seem to be the same part number? Also I had found a thread where someone thought they got ripped off on a mk7 cause it had a mk 6 mobo in it but that's a thing apparently? So what would be the difference in the 2 I wonder. I really wish I could just find like a part number list for a mk 6 and mk7 and see what's different

    Wow - 6000 nit !!!

I thought that the 1200 nit on my CF31 was bright. You could light the street with 6000....

Those 6000 are theoretical, using the sun (transflective screen). LEDs are 1/2 bright compared to MK3's. So you can light the street, but no one will see that because the sun is everywhere :))

Use the mk7 video driver on the mk6.

Could you post a photo comparing the brightness of the mk3 vs mk6-7? Indoors--outdoors?

    Thanks

I can't make good enough photos because of the sun, but hope difference is visible :)
Both backlights are on 100%, but under direct sunlight there is no need in the backlight for MK6 so light sensor turns the backlight off.
MK3 is much brighter, but it doesn't help under direct sunlight, have to search for a better angle to see.
This is not a permanent link (google photos album), but it will work for a few days.

    mk6 is much better outdoors.

Not sure about indoors though. Hard to tell

Indoors they are ok both, if you don't have to use full brightness :)
    10.1 vs 10.4 also

Does anyone else's light sensor go wonky after you adjust the brightness manually? I thought about changing it out for my spare one while I have it all blown apart but if it's normal I will leave it.

I will try the mk 7 drivers when I get it all put together, or maybe the other mk6 I just ordered lol

Try to switch it's settings in BIOS. I like mine. Of course sometimes I have to adjust the brightness, but it really works well.

I'm pretty sure I had it set at medium last. Low didn't seem to do anything and high got twitchy (changing brightness alot). It just always seemed that it would adjust itself to max bright in a dark room and I would adjust it then it would flip the other way and turn itself all the way down

One thing for sure is the BIOS will be different but still I find it strange that the two will be the some motherboard.
