Hey, all. As the title suggests, I installed all of the latest drivers for my Gobi2000 and they all installed without error or issue, but when I test the location with WinFast Navigator my position is off by the following values:

My actual location is N40.67174 W74.11821
Gobi says my location is N40.40307 W74.07088

I know that the Gobi2000 isn't the gold standard for accuracy when used standalone but I didn't think it is that horrible. Suggestions?

    ***EDIT***

I tried VisualGPS just to compare and it must be a WinFast problem because VisualGPS is right on. Please feel free to chime in on what that descrepancy might be about.

I find that WinFast gives a fair visual on signal strength but is lousy at speed, direction and location. VisualGPS is much better. The ONLY reason that I use WinFast is for the visual graphic for signal strength when I sell a unit.

I'm with Rick. I've never used WinFast, I don't see the point. VisualGPS is a much more powerful program and over years of tests it reports the data exactly as dithered by the GPS. Not much point in spending a bunch of money to get a good GPS and then have the software degrade your accuracy.

I'm checking right now to see if I have the latest VisualGPS; thank you for the link and the input. VisualGPS and MS Streets & Trips are both right on so the Gobi2000 is working very well.
