Ok... so I hacked it together in 15 minutes... but it works fine!

Used a Broadcom a/b/g card from a Dell and gutted the antenna wires from the same laptop.

Used some hot glue to mount everything in there and BAM! Wireless!

I'd like to upgrade it to a more powerful card at some point and a screen mounted antenna too.

Did you tried with the laptop closed?
I don't think you will have a strong signal inside the metal case.

Yes, I sealed it all up and get full signal to my router downstairs and 2 bars to the router in the neighbors house! Not as strong as my other laptop, but totally usable.

Nice job! However, I would rig an outside antenna. The antenna is the most important part of any RF circuit, speaking as a ham...

Here how you can have a better antena installation on CF-m34. If you've got an spare antena of cf-29 including its cover you can mount it to the right and left side of the Lcd by using a hex screw the one used on serial, VGA and parallel port(you know what I am talking about). Just measure the distance of its individual screw slot of the antena cover and by using a half tapping screw you can mount it to the lcd. Why I knew this. Its my other secret.

Nice thinking there, Teo. Any idea what the antenna+cover will cost from HL?

You managed to make any of covers from that black rubber thingie you were playing with?
