Is that a 1957 Chrysler 300? Also is it a model or the real deal?

Completion date aroud mid 2011. A car like this is no fast build.
I'm no Chip foose and this isn't Overhaulin -
Needs to be lower.
Mine was a Nomad; Oxblood Metallic with Gold Flake and charcoal, tubbed & tied, with Ram Air IV 400 & B&M TH400.
I like that you're keeping the shiny stuff; this whole de-chrome fad has started to get on my nerves over the last decade. By the time the carmakers themselves start doing it, it's jumped the shark LONG AGO.
Keep the faith!

I went lickety-split-ly out to my old '55...

it's a shame we have to work for a living, think of all the hobbys we could pursue. a couple of friends nearby do this for a living, don't think they enjoy it as much as perhaps you will, good use for a toughbook and is gonna be THE RIDE! not to hide, show it and blow it, wheezin' is pleasin' . old hi school buddy vietnam vet had a 55 with B&M low profile side draft blower with some awful hi lift cam and dish pistons that literally scared the hell outta me first time I rode in it.had one hand on the ceiling, foot on the floorboard other foot on the dash and my A$$ suckin a hole in the seat just trying to hold on. it reved so hard the magneto arked out under the hood so he cut off a couple more links off the chain that kept it from torquing so much. those were the days.....Driller

I couldn't grab onto enough stuff. It's much different when you have the wheel in your hand than in the passenger seat.
You can bet this won't be a Sunday only car. I'm building it to drive. The talk is she will get around 23 mpg will see. OH! I have to keep my foot out of it. Well that won't happen12 mpg the way I drive.
You said was? You don't still have it?
The hardest part now is the wait. It was allways bad, but to have a picture just makes it's 100 times worse
Thanks guy and I'm glad you like it. It Means allot to me, I have put lots of hard work into this project. It's almost as good as having a new baby. OH wait she is my baby now -
Perfect height and colors! Nice ride... I'd love an old 55...
