HI All: I could never get that Cisco 4500 wireless card to work in a CF-28 on anything but the Cisco commercial router. SO, I need to find a 350 card or some internal PCMCIA card that will work on most any router and use the standard antenna cable plug that the 340's & 350's have. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where I can buy a compatible card that won't break my wallet? Thanks. Spark

I got a used one here on my desk. Cisco Aironet 350 series WLAN. AIR-PCM352.
Is that what you need? -
HI Inspector. Yes, this is just what I need. I could use two if you have them. What do you need to have for them? Thanks for the reply. Spark

I just have the one. I don't have the drivers for it, but they are available on the net. Bought it used with some other stuff. Used it a couple of times. Works fine.
Shoot me a PM with a a small monetary offer so I can buy some other stuff and I will get it out to you next week.
Will be out for a while, but will check in later.
BTW, I don't see any way to "plug" anything into the card itself?
Just looks liek a regular PCMCIA WLAN card to me??? -
Is this a short, internal card, or does it have an antenna, a little plastic gizmo about an inch long on the end? Have you installed it into the internal PCMCIA slot on a CF-28 and actually used it to get on line with a regular router? In order to install it you have to take the phone/network plugs that are next door to the external PCMCIA slots on a CF-28 and then push it into the slot. You can't see this card when it is installed. I'm thinking that the PCM card won't work. I didn't read well enough on your post to see that it was a PCM. I got too excited that I had found one I guess. I think I tried one of those once and it did not work. As far as the plug goes, on the LMC 350, it has two little gold female sockets, probably about an eighth of an inch in diameter. I'll be going out soon so might now get back to you till tomorrow, but will check before I leave. Thanks. Spark

Yeah, it has the antenna on the end. Sticks out of the port when plugged in. Guess it won't work for you.
Sorry. -
Well thanks for the reply. Maybe someone else will come up with something. Take care. Spark

Spark... I think I have one. I'll let you know... I'm at work now but I can check tonight or tomorrow morning if you are still interested. Do you need the connector and antenna also?

HI Rick: How's things? If you have more than one let me know as I could use several. Let's talk about the antennas. Write me at [email protected] and we'll talk. Thanks. Spark

HI out there. I need another Cisco 350 PCMCIA card. Or a 340 will do just fine also. OR, if anyone knows another PCMCIA wireless card that will work in a CF-@* internal PCMCIA slot that would be fine. I bought a Chinese card, a Zcom XI-325HP+ but I can't get it to work. It supposedly worked when it came out of another 28. I have downloaded the only two drivers that I could find for it and neither one worked. I can't get on the Zcom site, well, that is not entirely true, my Chinese is just not good enough. This is for one of my customers and I would like to get his computer back to him running. Any enlightenment on this would be appreciated. Thanks. Spark
