I have a chicklet non back light keyboard (27,28,72), Cf-72 handle with screws, Pany cf-28 (48?) battery, holds a very good charge (3-4hr), CONTEMPLATING parting with or parting out cf-28 pb 800mhz,248mb. The 28 is in excellent condition...powers up to bios, all port covers, hard drive caddy and jell. 13" non-touch screen.

How much do you want for the battery and complete CF28?

I think with all the modding going on around here you are going to see a lot of "parts" units for sale on Ebay soon. :)

Tough-2-go...Ya you may be right. However, it sounds like people are having success.

I put a factory 30gb hard drive in the CF-28PB (800mhz,248mb ram) and loaded it with Windows 2000 and all the fixins.

I'm interested in purchasing the CF-28 Mark 3. You can share details on entire system to [email protected]; I'm very familiar with Toughbooks and the model numbers. Thank You!

    He's listing a Mark 2 for sale.

Kusa; You still have that battery, and is it the yellow or blue tab?

Hey Guys, Sorry the delay; Ive had my nose in my 1ghz machine for mods...good thing I have this second machine which has proven far to useful to part with...sorry.

Ya I have an extra battery still. Its a blue tab. Holds a good charge. The windows battery meter says 3-3.15 hours (depending on which TB its in). However, depending on the applications running Ive been getting more than 3 hours out of it at times
