We don't have any factory release BIOS updates for any CF 52G....I looked for years...
CF52G's have a socketed BIOS chip...

    To answer the next questions...
BIOS update won't remove the password.
Replacement chips are available, they won't remove a password either.

Due to forum rules, we are not permitted to discuss password removal on this forum...

Try removing ALL of the drives and then boot it..
Try removing memory ,,,one stick at a time....
Is the power supply 15.6 or 16v? Nothing else will work..

Power led lit then I press power button. Also charge led on. No beeps, no backlit and picture in LCD and external display. Same simptoms then I remove all periferals and change memory modules. Removing of CMOS battery don't change anything. I also check secondary power converters on main board and all run....

Sounds to me you have a fuse blown somewhere on the board?

Yes, I agree with a blown fuse.
Or a possibility that the power jack is bad...I have had several CF52's that the jack went bad.

I found 3 fuses and some low-ohm resistors on mainboard. No one of it is blown (checked by multimeter). And about power jack: laptop simptoms same then it run on AC with and whitout battery or on battery only.
How is about place to buy a new socketed bios for this laptop?

Did you buy it this way or were you doing something with it at the time. I have 2 at home just like yours . I junked mine just because 52's are going cheap and just not worth it.

I think he will need to look for another one. He can use all the parts from it so it might not cost to much for a replacement

No external display means blown fuse or bad gpu chip,so the board is most likely bad,the bios chip is a complete waste of time. In other words it's junk. I buy CF-52's for less then $60 all the time. And yes,the wrong charger will kill a CF-52. Been nice talking to you,bye now.

All I am trying to do is pinpoint your problem. This has happened more times than I can count. Good example...my mother in law's 52 battery/charge light would shut off and on when she was running it every other minute. Few weeks later it died. Problem was the charger was not strong enough and killed the battery and fried the board and charger.
