I have 2 Ledco DC-PAN-102-2c docking station for my CF30-FASRXAM. I need a single pass antenna connection that is in the spring connection bay. This is the connector that is pushed into the TB single antenna port on the back of the cf30. Plus the black plastic piece the holds it in place, as well the feed line to the bottom on the dock with a SMA or TNC connector.

I need one badly but 2 would be great. Greatfull for any help on this. Thanks in advance..

Where did you find them? I was about to check out a spare dock that I had to see if it as what you needed.

Damn ebay, ended up buying 2 used dock stations that have the connectors in them. Pay to much for them but now I will have extra parts i need in the near future. Like a missing screw here and there, a extra power cord and plug. Also found a supplier for keys to the lock. Also order some extra Molex plugs and new pins plus a WWAN sled. Been snowed in and ebay and pay-pal have got a workout...

Kind of come to find this dang thing can be addictive.

Yup... The slippery slope... I think I was on it before most of you. Some much so that when I have 2nd Gen... I usually ship all my 3rd gen to some lucky fellow. Ask Springfield... He's neck deep in CF-28 magnesium! LOL

At least you guys can count how many you have..... That's something!

I'm in a similar situation and my wife discarded my dock keys thinking they were from an old warehouse alarm. Do you mind sharing where you have been able to source the keys?

I was thinking about acquiring some used docks to salvage parts and replace the lock if need be. Haven't studied the tear down yet to do so... anyone else go this route?

No problem Cognetic; It took a lot of searching to find the keys. If you go to the Ledco site it will show the proper keys. Most the older Ledco docks for the cf series Toughbooks are the DS-PAN-100 series. It also will direct you to a vendor/supplier which I had no luck. I did find an on-line supplier that I will post below. These keys fit other models as well. This vendor has 3 or 4 different sets so be ware.

Replacement keys, Panasonic docking station - Computing Solutions - Emergency Vehicle Equipment

I ordered 1 (set of 2 keys) for $8.55 cool. But there is a $20 minimum with the order through this vendor, So be ware.

Side note, I may have slipped up when I ordered the keys, I did not "log-in" I just clicked buy and checked out. Paid with credit card filled out address info, bla bla bla. Whatever I did or did not do I did not receive the keys from this vendor till I come home from Vacation to find them in the mail. It took almost 2 months to arrive. Maybe they was out of stock I don't know, I did not give a email for them to respond to so it may have been my fault. Either way I got 2 keys now. Hope to pass on info and hope you don't have the waite I did.

If I was to order from then I would order 2 set = total 4 keys and sell them to others in need to cover the order minimum.

I guess while I am passing on info on docking stations I will share that I do have extra 12v power supply plugs for the Ledco docks.
If you can find then form a vendor they list for around $45.* Thats just the 2 pin plug a inline fuse and a piece of wire. I think thats kind of high for what you get. I found a supplier for new Molex mini 2 pin plug. I ended up ordering 8 plastic holders and 16 or more clap on wire connector that fits in the plug, So I have extras.
Hear again there was a $20 minimum order, so I got extra if anyone needs help with plugs..

I wish I had ordered the tool to remove this type/size of plug components. (I have several but none small enough) Many plugs eventually will break where the wire connects to the metal socket. If one had the proper tool you can remove the inside piece and solder it back with good luck. Otherwise you need the complete plug.

    dhardin, THANK YOU!
You are SPOT ON with same need for power plugs, as well.
I was searching for both of these and coming up short.

Hi all! Now that dhardin has helped with some parts sourcing, I have 4 ds-pan-102s, 2 in use (102b), 2 unused (?103, no front USB or dock status light), and mount/swing arm bits.

Something I'm finding hard to find is the mounting plate that attaches the dock to the mounts... which is the only reason why it took 4 dock purchases to complete a dual toughbook dock installation...

    Any sources for these mounts?

I picked up 4 DS-PAN-201-2 CF-19 docks and none had the mounting adapter on the bottom. If you find a source, please share the info. I will do like wise. Thanks.

Yes the bottom mount plate is hard to find. I have 2 spare/parts docks both without mount plates. I have 2 working mounts with plates.
In the short time I have been a TB user (6 months). I have never seen just the plate available on ebay. And I have been watching closely for all parts for docks and mounts.

If there is a interest for this plate I feel confident I could fabricate this part. Right now I have several issues needing my current attention. 1) a prolonging kidney infection, 2) 3 accounts to service before warm weather. 3) Clean a spot in the shop to weld up a set of tractor rims. Then I could find the time to fabricate this mount plate. It only has one critical factor. That is the hole space and alignment to bolt through the side plastic of the dock. These 4 holes need threads and must be spot on. The group of bottom holes are rather straight forward and as I find are not super close tolerant.

I just picked up new steel for the tractor rims and find new steel price has gone up again. To achieve this close tolerance in this peace I would need to build a gig to hold the parts in place for alignment. It would not be the difficulty factor as much as a ability to make a small profit on this part and finish in time before my busy mowing season starts.

How many would be interested in this plates? and numbers needed?

To comply with rules please message me or e-mail.

OK, so much crap has been hitting fan lately that I can hardly cover it all~! But I'm back in town now and among other things, I'm looking for a vehicle-based (pickup) docking station setup for my CF-30. Searched the forums and not a lot of specific post in this regard then BINGO--- here you guys are~!

Seen a bunch of DS's on eBay but they mostly look parts-lite but priced cheap. Where can I go to attempt to make sense of all the options and what in he11 do I really need: power supply or simple lighter plug? Proprietary antenna or leads for aftermarket solutions? What is a simple basic setup? What does a simple grunt like me really need to make docking in vehicle work-station work, and know this--- am not a fancy dancee all the bells and whistles kind of grunt here.

    Regards
