    Need help finding a CMOS/Backup battery for a CF-M34U

    Hello,

    I do not seem to be be able to find a CMOS/Backup battery for a CF-M34U.

    Can anyone help with a sorce or tell me why no one seems to stock this battery?

    Does it look like a standard round coin type cmos battery? If it is, then I would pick up one of the same voltage for anything (Thinkpad ones are cheap on ebay). Then I would cut the end off the old battery and splice it on the new battery.
    Alternatively, If you post a picture, I can see if I have a matching battery here.

    I bookmarked this one on ebay. If I remember correctly. I researched it and it has the same connector as the cf 29 / cf50 cf 51. I can not warranty my memory though.

    These are generally all CR2032 batteries with a little wire wired up. all 3 volts too.

    What I've done in the past is take a cheap IBM CMOS battery, cut the wire and splice/solder to the wire that you need (also cut) to go to the MOBO (proprietary connection usually)
