I just bought a CF-29LAQGZBM. I have run the number on the configer site and from what I see it has wifi. I can not get the wifi to work I think it is a driver issue. In the device manager under Other Devices I have Multimedia Audio Controller, PCI Device, PCI Modem, SM Bus Controller and Universal Serial Bus Controller. If someone could tell me what that all means that would be great. I have installed the drivers for the touchscreen, ethernet, video. If there needs to be drivers installed for all of the items under Other Devices can you tell me what drivers I need. This website is the best one around.

Welcome. Someone will be along to help in a bit. Meanwhile what operating system are you working with?
Also when you do an edit just go to your last post, click edit and add or change what you wish. That saves duplicated posts and Rob won't yell.
Again it is important to name the O.S. so the right person can help. If it's Linux that would be me, but it doesn't sound like it.

    Gork!

I take it there is no recovery cd's and no downloaded drivers? When you go start/programs is there a intel PROset wireless folder? If not start/connect to/wireless network connections?

Did it already come with some of the drivers? check C:\util and you might get lucky and find it there but never installed fully. If not that site should help you. XP sp2 drivers will work with sp3

When I go to device manager it does not have a wifi adapter just ethernet. I just updated the sound and modem driver all that is left is the USB Controller. I dont think i have an internal wifi card.

Do you have any yellow exclamation marks in the device manager? Or any unknown devices?

CF 29L should have it you try the drivers? The Dull in my sig refused to see the Dull wireless card until I had the drivers installed. The initial plug and play found it but wouldn't say what it found.

The usb will be related to the intel chipset drivers , so it's best to download and install in this order

The most updated wi-fi driver is from intel, and I have linked it, so don't install from the panasonic site as it is too old

If you are installing xp without the panasonic restore cd's here are the steps

    Install XP

    Upgrade to sp-3

Now a list of the main drivers in order

    Chipset driver

    https://panasonic.ca/PDP/Drivers/inf_29_4_d040580.exe

    Graphics Driver

    https://panasonic.ca/PDP/Drivers/video_29_4_d050424.exe

    Sound Driver

    https://panasonic.ca/PDP/Drivers/sound_29_4_d040820.exe

    Touchscreen/touchpad Driver

    https://panasonic.ca/PDP/Drivers/mouse_29_4_d050515.exe

    Wired Lan Driver

    https://panasonic.ca/PDP/Drivers/lan_29_4_d050543.exe

    Wireless switch utility

    https://panasonic.ca/PDP/Software/wswitch_29_4_d050643.exe

    PRO/Wireless 2915ABG Network driver

    Download Locations

OS INF File driver , unextract to c: and install and reboot
Video driver unextract to C: util and install and reboot
Sound driver unextract to C: util and install and reboot
    Continue through the list

Now you can download and install the hotkey drivers
Add any other drivers now that I missed
