I just bought a CF-29PTQLZBM on Fleabay. I just got it yesterday and I love it! I have tried looking for the model number but can't find it anywhere. I am thinking it was a custom build. It has 1.6GHz Intel Pentium M, 80GB HDD, Touchscreen,Chicklet style keyboard, 512 RAM and Windows XP PRO SP3. It only has 1800 hours cumilative use on it so it is practically brand new! Any help would be appreciated. :D

I got this particular model because I am going to run Delorme Topographical 8 and Topo 9 when we get it. We also do Geocaching and wanted something we could take with us camping and Geocaching in the field along with our handheld Delorme Earthmate PN-40. We wanted something rugged and that we wouldn't have to worry about the dogs stepping on it and breaking, dropping, ect.

Have a great and safe rest of the week to all!

may be wrong, but I think that is a federal model, meaning doesn't have wifi capabilities. look up toughbook configurator in google go to discontinued fully rugged cf-29 and let it come up. then choose corresponding letters and numbers. Toughbook, one of the sages moderators knows a good bit about these particular federal models and there may be some bios changes that could be done to get the wifi capabilites back..........Driller

I have a wireless card in it now and it works fine. I tried going to the Panasonic website and plugged every model number in that it has and it says it can't find this particular model. What does a "federal model" mean? Is that a good thing or bad thing? It looks like the previous owner used it for auto diagnostics as it came with a Smartronix Stress Relief. Thank you for your help! :D
