Ok, so I work for an EMS service and we do pretty much all of our patient care reports on toughbooks, mostly the cf-19's. First off, these computers are amazing, they get puked, pee'd and vomited on and after a good wipe down with a sterilizing solution, they're still getting the job done. But I have a little problem: my operations manager just installed new hard drives in two of the computers, one is a cf-19rhrax1m running Windows 7 Pro and the other is a cf-19kdrsx6m running Vista Business, and he's telling me we don't have the "ISO" files for them (I'm pretty sure he means the recovery and driver disks). Now, I'm not the biggest tech guy by any means, but I am the biggest tech guy at the station. I guess what I need to know is, how and where can I get the ISO files for a decent (i.e. cheap) price, and then how do I run them on the books? Can I use a usb flash drive (I have plenty lying around) or do I need to buy an external dvd drive?
Thanks guys!

First off... Welcome to the forum! Secondly... You now have me wondering if I want to buy from EMS services again! YUCK!
The best and easiest way is to purchase a Recovery DVD for your model which can be had for around $30 online. You can then use a USB DVD to load it. Then you would just load the rest of the updates. I would purchase a cheap USB DVD just so you can load additional software in the future if needed.
However... That said.... You can use a generic W7 or Vista load and then just load your own drivers. You need to do a little reading here as they need to be installed in order and you need to download them from a bonafied Panasonic Site! -

Get all the recovery DVD's..Set up a 16gb USB stick with multi boot and the pick whichever machine you need. Everything in one small usb stick.
Or manually install windoze on all the units and use acronis to make backup images on an acronis bootable usb stick.
Need help with two toughbook cf-19's
