Need part number confirmations for CF-18

I just want to make sure I have the Right part numbers here.

I have a CF-18 MK4, Model # CF-18KHHZXBM

LCD Panel = Toshiba LTD104EAFP
Touch screen bezel = DFKM0493

Another question i have is, are the parts the same across all the different marks? i.e. will an LCD panel (non digitizer model) from a mark 1,2 or 3 work in my mark 4?

I see some information that says a mark 4 bezel is different than the one from a mark 1,2, and 3. Are the actual touch panels all the same in the different bezels? Reason I'm asking is that I see some touch screen bezels w/ touch panels for mk1's that are a bit cheaper than the ones for an mk4, if the touch panels are the same i can just swap them out because that's what i actually need.

Basically i just want to know what is and isn't compatible with my toughbook that needs a new LCD + touch Panel.

Your best bet is to swap the whole bezel over then you can use a
MK 1,2,3 as a parts machine. The lids can be made to fit but you will be
missing a few screw locations on the sides under the antenna covers.

As for swapping the touch-panel from one housing to another I would'nt even waste the time. Either get a working touch MK1-3 or buy a new touch-screen kit. By the time you "carefully" cut the touch panel out of the housing
its bound to get damaged.

Its a piece of cake swapping the whole top half over. Just remove the keyboard and carefully undo the lcd cable ( don't what so ever pull on the cable ) use a small screwdriver and push up on bothe sides of the metal part of the cable carefully working it out of its socket. Then remove the bottom cover
and undo the wifi cables. Loosen the 4 large screws around the screen pivot
and reverse this with your working top half.

I've got it now what you have based on the model no. you've posted.

You can install any complete TS lcd panel on your unit. I said it again complete ts panel not parts by parts from different model. But If you do have partial parts for the LCD. You must look for mk4-5 parts also. Why? First: the bezel and LId cover has different layout on the inside. Two; the ribbon cable of TS glass panel for Mark 4-5 is narrower than mark1 and of course ts control board also difer... And the rest are compatible to each other. we are talking here for TS model.

I'd like to do the entire assembly but not having luck finding any kind of deal on one so far so at the moment I'm looking for parts.

If you become aware of any complete display assemblies let me know, I'm awaiting a reply from RuggedSolutions about individual parts.
