I have been reading for the last week or so in anticipation of my CF-29. I got it today and have been setting it up. All seems to be working as it should except the touchscreen. It is enabled in the CMOS and I have followed the directions for D/L and installing the driver, to no avail. Is it possible that there is not a touchscreen installed on my TB?
I have tried reading the many threads found here but can't find the solution (maybe after a good nights sleep)
    Thanks.... Great forum

Sorry, thought I had done that (I guess I am tired).
    Model # is Cf-29HTM50BM.
According to the configurer, I should have a touch screen.
    Thanks for the reply

Before you write it off as bad touchscreen, make sure you follow the proper procedures to load the driver. here is a brief summary> 1. extract the files to a folder> 2. open device manager> 3. right click on the ps2 compatible mouse> 4. select update driver > 5. point to the folder where the files were extracted. Now your mouse should change to Touchscreen/touchpad and you will see new icons in the task bar. 6. Run calibration from those icons. If calibration fails then you may have a bad touchpanel.

If you bought this from a reputable online seller and they billed it as a working touchscreen I would ask for a refund.

Thank you all for your prompt and helpful assistance. I am able to get to the calibration screen but, unfortunately, my screen does not respond to even the most seductive caresses. Oh well, it was sold as a non-touch screen, so be it.
    Great group/great information!
    Thanks again
