This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    New CF-30 Owner!

    I am proud to say I now have a CF-30 Mk3 and I am really tickled. I fell in love with my CF29 and I got the TB fever. I upgraded this, installed that and wanted more. I drooled over the CF-30 but couldn't afford them. I have scrimped, saved and done without for the past 4 months or so to get enough to get one and wow, am I ever glad BUT... (discussed later)

    I am currently deployed to Iraq with the US Army and I plan on using this daily as part of my duties. I will have many questions and do so now. I will start new threads for the questions so as to not confuse the issues.
