    NEW TO THE TOUGHBOOK but not pc i have just got a good one off ebay and have looked at the this forms and now have got a Seagate ST9500420ASG Momentus 500gb with G-Force Protection for the fact of i drive a truck
    and 2.5" SATA Hard Drive to IDE 44 Pin Adapter For Laptop Drives from CoolDrives.com
    that i have noted off this froms some ware
    now im looking at a gps and bt kit i will get a bt 2.0 usb for it wont some feed back on it and mabe that
    TOUGHBOOK guny guy guy may know something of it

    I take it you have a Toughbook 29? If you do the IDE to SATA conversion just remember to yank that 90 degree piece of metal. It's not even welded on so no need to dreamel or hammer at it.

    First off, what truck do you have?
    I have a new Gamber-Johnson "generic" laptop mount complete assembly. Depending on your vehicle Make/Model, you may only need to replace the base with one that fits your truck.

    thanks topcop but i have found one that i like and have it at the house i dont have the cf-29 in my hands all the parts are at home to so once i get it all in and i have some time to take some home time off the road i will start the up grades what i wont the most is a Port replicator that will work with Laptop truck mount for computers in semi rigs
    im going to take a gambl on this
