Did you install all the drivers, which drivers did you use ? Did you use the one's from Rob's site

Followed the Directions found here:

Im redowloading all of them again and overwriting them all -
Wonder if its due to not using WIFI during windows setup?

I don't think so. I think you might of missed a driver. I never had a problem with my SD card. After you installed all the drivers did you update W7 with all the latest updates..."Windows Update"
-
Yep.... gonna do a fresh install now
-
Ok slept on it......

When you installed the misc driver did you install it from the device manager .
-
You either forgot the SD driver or installed something out of order.
-
Reinstalled the misc driver.... works now.. guess I had a bad install.
Installed SD secure DLL driver and still no go.. SD card doesn't work it also doesn't work in Linux....what's the likely hood the card reader went bad? -
Dirt or gunk on contacts. Find small pencil with eraser and clean contacts.
-
Possible that the connector is running loose. Maybe somebody worked on it before you have it.
ohlip -
Think I just found my issue... All my SD cards are bigger than 8gb. I'm assuming that I won't get any lights or storage with anything bigger than 8gb
