Looks pretty cool! I wonder what the price point will be...
-
Yep. It looks real good but, with a screen that small, the geezer brigade will need optical loupes to see what's on it.
-
Nah... Hold it far enough away and you'll see it!
-
It won't be cheap.
-
The desireable things in life never are.
-
I'm guessing it'll be in the $3k to $4k range due to its battery life and portability. You best have a damn good use for it to drop that much dough on it.
-
Yup, I remember us figuring out what it had in this thread based on the pics.

Info is out.

Looks like its $2.5k. Not too bad, if you have the NEED for it. -
Outrigger.... PLEASE don' review it! If you do I'll end up buying it!
I had to buy the CF-30 after reading YOUR review! (Great job BTW) -
You know I'm just itching for it since its less than what I thought its going to cost. However, its just too much of a niche to get it. I don't think anyone is going to get it for the novelty when the ultraportable market is booming right now, not that its any way comparable to the U1. As attractive as it looks, I'm going to have to pass on it. But for anyone that wants to review it, don't let me stand in your way!

Some light reading to kill time.

The reviewer is impressed as am I especially given the price of entry. 9 hrs of useage on the two batteries is very impressive. To me, if you work in the field and don't need a full fledge laptop, you cannot do better than the U1. -
Thanks for the link. The thing I notices was the price of 900 pounds would put it at $1800. That's more than 25% lower than the inital listed price. Very sweet indeed.
