Panasonic today announced two additions to its rugged notebook family Toughbook. The new thin and light models T4 and W4 come with a magnesium alloy case, shock mounted hard drive, integrated wireless LAN, removable hard drive, 12.1-inch glare-free LCD, wireless on-off switch, and docking connection.
According to the manufacturer, both devices offer a significantly increased battery life - 6 hours in the 2.8-pound W4 and 9.5 hours in the 3.3-pound T4.
The new Toughbooks are shipping now for a suggested retail price of $2150.

We should be getting these for review, I hope their displays have gotten better, prior they were some of the worst on the market.

No, they make business machines and businesses still prefer standard skpect ratios.

this is sure to sell with business's that have people mobile alot! -
widescreens/glossy aren't that important anyways.. but i know when working on projects that require lots of reading/typing like programming, regular screens are much better than those new ones..
