    Notes:

This driver should only be installed on Penabled Tablet PCs that run Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Vista or Windows 7.

Using this driver with Wacom consumer products (Bamboo and Graphire), additionally requires driver version 5.23 or higher.

Using this driver with Wacom professional products (Intuos and Cintiq), additionally requires driver version 6.05 or higher.

    Yep -- I read that!

But what does 'Penabled' mean? Isn't this what a digitized toughbook is?

And if you follow the other link on the read me page Wacom Components : Partners & Integrated Products and scrool down it shows a CF19 and a CF18 (although the latter marked as end of availability - which I guess is true if you want a new one!)

The reason for asking this is that I have just changed to Windows 7 (see the posts at the end of the thread on that subject) and now I have the screen working as it should. But the pen will not work. I quite sure I followed RCX's driver instalation notes for the Touchpad driver, as PS/2 Device has gone and I have Pana TB Tablet PC Button and Wacom Serial Port Tablet under Human ID's. I am now at a loss to know what to do!

    Alex,

thanks I'll have a look at this later today, but to answer your question it worked fine with XP and also with my first attempt to load W7 -- the problem them was that I could not get the screen to rotate! Now I can get the screen to rotate but the pens not working!

After giving it some though, I decided that (after creating a restore point) I would give the wacom driver a try and YES it does work!

    :D :D

    Alex,

I used the updated driver in my link, there also seems to be a similarly named driver on their dot com site. I assume they are the same appart from language differences.

I will post in W7 issues...

    I have an update!

When I installed the 'new' Wacom driver I did not fully test the results! When I came to switch from laptop to tablet mode for the first time, I found that the pen did not make the transition!

This was not what I wanted so I decided to uninstall ISD Tablet properties, which I did and then re-booted.
When my Toughbook restarted it began to installed Wacom drivers, I though Oh no! Thinking it was reinstalling what I had just removed.
But no it did not, it installed the drivers that were missing following my W7 update.
Tablet PC Setting is now as it should be, with the full 16 calibration points!
