    Hello,

I just purchased a cf 48 on ebay, and suspect I'll need a replacement battery. I'm told by the seller that the battery holds charge for about one hour. What do you all recommend? Thanks very much.

The cf-28 and cf-48 and cf-50 have the same battery
Used batterys that I have purchased lately have just over 2 hours life
Search on the forum for battery posts for those different models , there have been post regarding battery rebuilders etc

Try to use the battery refresh in the BIOS Then see how long the battery lats.

Also, if the battery has not had much use for a while, it may take several charge & (full) discharge cycles before it regains it's correct capacity.

Thanks folks. The 48 hasn't arrived yet, but I'll follow your advice when it gets here. Great forum, and thanks for the help. Cheers--SB
