Hi, I just recently purchased a cf30 mk1 toughbook. It has windows 7. Anyway, the touchscreen doesn't work, as well as the Bluetooth. When I put it in discover mode it found my phone (Google pixel), but an exclamation point comes up in the Bluetooth menu,, it says it's missing the driver. I let it autosearch for the driver and it can't find it. I also tried updating the BIOS to the Vista version as described in here, still no luck. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi,the cable running to the touchscreen is the problem most of the time, easy fix. You will also need to make sure you have the Windows Vista bios update or it will not work. As for the bluetooth,if you have the blue icon lower right on the taskbar,it should work in Windows 7 with no other drivers.

    Go here. http://business.panasonic.com/suppo...Ad_support-computerstablets_ Driver Downloads

Download the Mk1 Win 7 bundle, right click, run as admin and let it go. It's not perfect but I know it will patch the Bluetooth.

Thanks so much, that fixed it and now the touchscreen somewhat works, but it isn't right. U can touch the middle of the screen but it acts like you touched the bottom. I tried using the pen and touch calibration utility in the control panel, but same thing. Any suggestions?

replacing the touch screen itself is about the best solution .

What is full model number from bios page and what bios and ec did you end up with after the bios upgrade?

Kerry is right about touch panel....Most MK 1 are prone to fail. The best repair is to replace the touch panel. The FPC from the new type panel has been upgraded.

There are two conditions possible. (Note: touch is touch...tablet is tablet...W7 wants tablet numbers)

    1. Suppose Touch numbers are saved in the registry. In this case the cursor will stay on the screen....REMAINS VISIBLE but will only cover less than a quarter of the screen.. The fix is the RESET BUTTON IN THE W7 calibration utility.

    2. The cursor dives down and to the right and disappears. In this case at least one circuit or more on the touch panel is de-laminated or broken...a new panel is the best and most satisfying fix. Screen will be bright and clear and the touch works like magic.
