I typed my model number (CF-28PTJGZQM) into the Panasonic configurator, and clicked on "submit" not enter. The configuration flashed for less than one second, then disappeared. If I press enter instead, I get an error page. Do you guys know the secret handshake? Otherwise, can anyone give me an interpretation of my model #? Everything I want to do to my '28 starts with knowing what I have.

#1 mod: Memory. If I have to update my BIOS in order to allow an additional 512Mb stick, the links I found in this forum didn't show that specific update. Any suggestions?

    Thanks for any help.

Just a WAG [wild *** guess], but are you using Firefox as your browser. Config won't work with FF. Use IE instead.

Use the drop down menus at config.panasonic.com WITH INTERNET EXPLODER, NOT FIREFOX... for some reason this stupid crappy website doesn't work with Firefox... then you will get the info you are looking for for your CF-28.

Or you can do it like I do, and use FireFox with the NoScript plugin, and set scripts to not run on panasonic.com.

    It works for me anyways.

Another technique would be to use Firefox's IE Tab plug-in. Simply load the page, right click on the tab and select switch rendering engines. It works like a charm.

    Bingo!
Yes, I'm using Firefox. I will follow Modly's advice and install the no scripts plugin. I'll do almost anything to avoid using Internet Explorer. Thanks Ron! That's instant gratification. Speaking of gratification, who's this girl I'm hearing about? -JK.

    Thanks guys.
