Greetings. Long time reader, first time poster.
I've got a fleet of fire apparatus with a mix of CF-19 MK4s, CF-C2s, and CF-53s.
I'm trying to upgrade the CF-19 MK4s to utilize 4G LTE through Verizon.
I've got an MC7750 and 4G SIM installed, along with the current drivers and firmware from Panasonic, and the most current version of Verizon Wireless Access Manager, 7.10.1.0 (2826a).
The MC7750 is working great, but only in 3G. If I hover the mouse over the VZAM signal strength indicator it brings up a little box showing the strength of various signals. 2G (1x) and 3G (EV) are fine, but 4G (LTE) shows "Unavailable."
I've checked with Big Red and they've confirmed the line is provisioned correctly for 4G LTE and we've got plenty of signal strength in this area.
Don't think it matters, but this line is associated with a private network that has a custom APN; e.g. xxx.vzwentp. We have other lines that use a standard static IP; e.g. xxx.vzwstatic. This hasn't caused any issues on the newer model toughbooks, but I thought it might be a factor.
Thanks for reading, any ideas would be appreciated!

Welcome.
I have zero information to help you, but I am sure someone else will chime in.
More info would help.
What's your location? -
I'm in central Indiana.
I thought of one other item that could be part of the issue...the antenna wires. I've got the green lead to the aux connection and the black wire to the main. This is consistent with the pics I've seen, but I haven't been able to verify this because I have yet to find a CF-19R manual and, as everyone probably knows, Panasonic tech support won't give end users any information related to installations. -

Awesome! Thank you very much. Answers my question about the antenna wires. (Black goes to "main" for anyone keeping score.)

Thanks. It's a great site, been on it several times.

I assume from your exuberance that your problem has been resolved! But, for the record, for a devise to get LTE speeds on Verzion's Network it must be capable of receiving bands 2 (1.9 GHz), 4(1.7 GHz [def]) and 13(700 Mhz [a]).
This can be verified by researching your model number, or in the event that you have a device that has been altered... by using the AT command set through a terminal program, like Hyper terminal. Here is the reference.
Now, if you don't mind taking a short survey, on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being "very satisfied!" and 1 being "dissatisfied, would not recommend this site!" How would you rate your experience here?
No 4G LTE on CF-19 MK4?
