What is the full model number?
What operating system and version are you using?

CF18 touchscreens are known to go bad.....
How do you know is is good?
They go bad internally. The touchscreen still looks fine, but they will not work. They can go bad suddenly.

If you already installed the correct programs and drivers from Panasonic, then it is BAD.
You said in your first post that you already installed the drivers from Panasonic..

The controller boards very seldom go bad..

I'm sure "controler" = driver, not board :)

Try out a ubuntu live dvd on it, that way you can test the touch to make sure it works. Did you previously have windows on it and just reloaded or is this a new to you pc.

Three or more of the people that have responded to you know:

    1. How to set up touchscreens and.....
    2. How to repair "broken" touchscreens. (of the ten or less in the world)

Please, sir, if we ask for information it is so we may help!
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is for every new poster.......what is the full model number of your computer. It's not a secret code.....or a link to your bank account....it tells the helpers what they are dealing with. It saves band width and a lot of time. Time is valuable, yes?

Please, please, please don't ask the talented and experienced people here a question and then tell them they are wrong.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will bet $50 that I/or you can fix this with a new touch panel.......LISTEN and a proper download of drivers. Or I and several others can repair the panel.

Don't get mad, just read and learn. Please. :hi2:

It's real silver (metal), not silver painting! I can see it through ocean and 2 walls!
And yes, this may cause touchscreen malfunction. Silver ions are incompatible with black plastic, they have to go further and there is.. touchscreen. Elementary, my dear Watson!
