    Hi,
I'm hoping someone will know for certain whether this is compatible with a 19/1 running W7 Ult. in the UK and currently using a Novatel EU740 for HSDPA with no problems.

Listed as "Novatel Expedite E362 wireless wwan GPS Card DP/N 0WRYPD for Dell"

Priced at $63 + $5.99 shipped from HK, seller laptop-parts-center says "This card is working pulled from Dell, not for Lenovo or HP"

It covers LTE, CDMA & HSPA+/UMTS but also has GPS which is why I'm interested.

    Any better alternatives? Thanks!

Better (and cheaper) alternative is Sierra MC8780. 20-30$ shipped.
It doesn't have CDMA, but do you really need that? :)
GPS works fine, no problems with HSDPA/GSM also.
I've just bought MC8790. It's under $50, also has GPS and is a newer edition of MC8780. You have a choice :)

Hi, thanks for that - the MC8780 is one I've been comparing the E362 with - but I don't know enough (or anything useful) about LTE to decide if that capability may be usable in the UK in the not-too-distant future or if providers will jump straight to real 4G... somehow.

In what way is the Sierra better in your view?

It's cheap and it works :))
And when "the not-too-distant future" comes - you can always upgrade again :)))
