Unbelievably expensive but I am sure the price will come down soon.

 Does it come in pink?
*Cackles*

2000 MP3s, silicon & high explosives all in one shiny aluminum package... what's not to love? -

OK, I have to buy one to initiate the self-destruct sequence... JUST TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS... HAHAHAHAHA
 -

That looks...heavy...
      -

Heh, it does come in black though...

      -

Does it blow up or just crackle and fizzle?
 -

I wonder if self-destructing voids the warranty
 -
Only if you DON'T crack the cyanide capsule embedded in your tooth when you do it...
mnem
Ummmm... DON'T drink the punch...
      -

Looks cool but way too high priced! I can do the same thing by stepping on mine...
It wouldn't fit in the slot of the 29 anyway... -

Wouldn't be practical for me. I keep all of my sensitive info on my MacPro which is at home, and while I'm near it would be hard to steal.
One of those degauss plates could be useful at the doorway though, but I'd forget about it and walk through with my laptop. -

It can be even better..... get your hands on your ennemie's flash and trigger HIS self-destruct.... hillarity garanteed

What's with all the random Dell people showing up now? Is it notebook envy, or slumming?
Let's grab our dictionaries and thesauruses and head over to the Dell forum and take them to school. Obviously they need to learn how to spellcheck. -
 Pssst... that's thesaurii...

mnem
A thesaurus is NOT an extinct reptile! -
klboo... You cracked me up... I was arrowing down and saw he had a Dell and thought the same exact thing!
Panny envy?
BUT... The Dells have THREE FOAD chips to our ONE!
Right Mnem? -
Latest news through my DCSE channels is that Dell is working with Intel on a quad-core FOAD chip with 64-bit architecture, specifically optimized for use at the IRS. The only holdup is Windows Vista validation, which Microsoft has fast-tracked for scheduled implementation April 14th, 2008.

*SSSSHHHH-ILY* -

I heard a rumor it may be pushed back to Feb. 29, 2009 - the April date is intended only as a preview of the interfaces, so users can compare what MS expects to be able to (hopefully) deliver with what is currently available on the market from other vendors. I think internally this project is known as FEE-FIE-FOAD-FUD.
 -
That's the scheduled release for the general public; Microsoft has committed to ensuring that our good men & women at the IRS have the best FOAD in the world before the April 15th rush. Hardware has already been implemented; Microsoft is now tweaking the Vista HAL and command interfaces for full FOAD integration; they expect to make delivery via Automatic Update systemwide on April 14th between 23:59 and 24:00 hours. This will ensure that everyone at the IRS can FOAD on April 15th, just like we all want them to.

*Ooooh... a new chew toy...* -

I've read and reread this thread a few times and the one thing that piques my curiousity...
What's the new chew toy mnem?
<Enjoying FOAD ala mode> -
 FOAD itself...
It just sortof seemed to keep bringing me back, like a dog with a new chew toy...
mnem
I TOLD YOU my associations had grown rather loose...
Now this is what we need....
