    Hi all
yet another gps related question, but this may be the last. as i have failed to source an OEM antenna for the CF-30, would the antenna from a CF-29 suite? just happen to have a unit with one in, and may do the butcher thing if it would work. not wanting to take things apart just to see.

sensable thoughts and comments welcome as always. :D

thanks for that. i am looking to mount the active antenna i got with the kit, under the black strip that holds the keyboard in place. this will take a little cutting i think, so need to work out what needs to be done before i put knife to plastic as they say.
concerns are that it will pick up Rf from within the body of the laptop, or from the screen, but it's worth a try.
