OK so the TB i got has a CDMA verizon wwan card in it but on the panny website i can only download the watcher program for EVDO rev.0 or Rev.A cards. So i figured i would try the rev.0 software. I installed the software and ran the program but it does not seem to see the verizon card i have installed. I checked for drivers from the panny website but saw nothing for WWAN cards.

Anybody have any ideas on how to get this thing working? Like which program or drivers i need?

    SB555 is 1XRTT/CDMA

Is it enabled in the BIOS? and do you have it powered on via the front panel switch?

Yes it is enabled and it is powered on but never finds the modem it just closes the app after it says searching for modem.

James... with your SB555... does it show up in Windows at all? On my CF-29, the modem shows up in the BIOS (and is enabled) but Windows doesn't see it at all (as in, not even "unknown device" in Device Manager.)

No as far as windows is concerned it does not exist on my TB. after installing the 555 software linked above i can goto modem options in the control panel and add a new modem but windows will not find it i have to select it from a list and then it will install but the sierra program still cant find the modem.

Ok I found the software on the panny website.

Goto Panny Website and log in.

Next goto downloads then pre-2003 model downloads then follow the ftp link using the username and password they provide to you.

Next hit Folders on the left side, then home in the center of the page, then drivers then cf-29 then select your model then ur OS then drivers again and then download either sprint of verizon depending on what sled you have.

After that Install the program. When the prompt comes up with what ports to use I selected com7 and primary and com8 as secondary.

Now you have to goto the control panel select phones and modems hit the modems tab then select add new modem.

Select i will select the device from a list and then select the sb555 modem and com7. After it installs run the sb555 watcher and there you go you now can see the modem you have.
