So, I've had a basic RAM stripo model "Polish work truck" for the last 2 years (my first RAM), and my wife and I decided that a 2 door truck simply isn't going to work going forward with kids in the agenda. So I bought a truck that costed $10,000 more for only $33/month more... I'm so stoked! What I got is highlighted below. Additionally I will list some things that knock my socks off!

    What I got:
2012 Big horn 4x4 Quad cab
Black - DEAR GOD SHE'S PRETTY!
    Luxury package
    Preffered package 25Z
    Limited slip rear end
    3.55 rear end
HEMI (So much better than my 4.7!)
    20 x 9" tires - simply GORGEOUS!

Some things that just make me smile:
    Dual exhaust!
    115V outlet
    Lumbar support and power seats!
    Leather stearing wheel
Bright as HELL LED "approach" lights - shine down on the pavement from the mirrors! - GOD THIS IS GORGEOUS!
    Auto dimming mirrors
    Heated mirrors
    Fog lamps
10" ground clearance all around to the rear pumpkin and even to the front air shroud thing!!
    Power sliding rear window
And the best part: BACK SEATS!

Coming from a fully loaded 2007 SRT8 300C to the polish work truck was a BIG setback and blow on my spoiled life style, so going to this beautiful truck just tickles me pink!

I've taken the OEM Mopar front tow hooks with me and will put them on when I get the $20 plastic piece that goes with them in the mail.

Things I've given up that I'm not happy about, but will live:
    3.92 Rear end
    33" mud tires
    3" lift
    Flip out tow mirrors

P.S, the first "mod" I did to it was to install my CF-29 and VDL01 PDRC screen into it! Works just great! :)

You should be happy with it. I have close to the same model. 2005 black quadcab. 5.7 hemi (last year for all time v-8) It pulls my cars on back of a 16' flatback with out problem. I have it ready to go in the corner but still haven't installed the CF-07 in dock with keyboard and screen yet. I can set 6 adults in my truck with out hearing any complaining.

This one holds 5 people. The front middle seat isn't there because of the floor shifter. I like it better that way because then there is never a problem with the carputer getting in the way.

More inside pics to follow! :)

    Elegant lad, elegant.

Leave the wheel tire set-up as is. The big tire wheel combo last under two years on these mountain roads......the front tie rod end passenger side falls off. We retrieved one once by jacking the tie rod end into place and haywiring (baling wire) it together and limping it into my yard. (on a Dodge...all the Dodges) Just saying.

    This is 5-speed? 6?

Your old enough to trade cool for style. Get a Pendleton Wool Blazer to wear with the Levis. :D

    Congratulations.

6 speed. Part of how it gets 16 around town and 22 on the highway :D

The milage is almost TWICE as my other truck too...

Exactly. I thought that 3.92 might be a little thirsty.

It's more because the 6 sp vs 5 speed, and also because this engine on my new truck has MDS where it cuts half of the cylinders...

Plus the HEMI is just more efficient in general.

Chrysler puts the 3.92 in my truck and it doesn't affect gas milage as per them.

If/when you move to Texas you may be regretting the color, but otherwise she's awesome! I highly recommend 3M Crystaline tint window film for heat reduction that is not dark enough to get ticketed for it.

There's nothing prettier than a nice, clean, polished black paint job. :)

There's nothing uglier than a dirty, dull, unpolished black paint job.
    :(
Here's in TX, you can use as dark a tint as you desire: on the windows behind the front seat windows:

    Texas Window Tint Law

The laws are similar here in Illinois with the tint laws... Rear windows can be as dark as you want.

Yeah I know about the tint laws both in Illinois and Texas, I lived in Texas for nine years and am currently in Chicago. The Crystaline tint comes in almost clear (CR 90), blocks a significant portion of heat from the sun, also can be put on windshields and front windows without getting you ticketed. Pricey, but well worth it in the Texas heat, in my opinion ;P By all means make the rear windows as dark as you want'em, but without something blocking the windshield you still get a lot of heat in the vehicle.

My boss bought one of these, same engine I believe (345cui), only that one is bright red. For such a behemoth truck, it surprisingly quick. I avoid these like the plague normally because they're a pain to drive here in the city (Stockholm is a logistic nightmare), I much prefer something small and agile instead, hence the reason I bought a Fabia. But when you're hauling tools or car parts, there's no better option.
