Guys... I know it isn't a ToughBook... but man, at this price for this combination of size, power and capacity, it just SCREAMS CarPuter to me:

    eCOST.com - Motion 1.2GHz Intel Ultra-Mobile Tablet PC - LS800

Add a bluetooth GPS and one of THESE:

    Clear Spot 4G+ | CLEAR.com

And you can have GPS tied to Google Earth, iTunes, NetFlix and Pandora at your fingertips, and no ginormous mounts or ANYTHING in your way.

With the Intel 915GMS Express Chipset my best is despite the fact that they claim 512MB base and 1GB Max, it will do at least 1.5GB to maybe 2GB. It depends on whether the base RAM is socketed to the Momboard.

D@mn you Dwagon, too good to resist. If nothing else it will make a good eBook reader. I'll let you know how it works. Now to find a Lind power supply for it.

Edit: Yippee-kay-yay! The correct computer cable is the same as the CF-29 and I have a 19v Lind Gateway power supply I bought just for the cables. Life is good.

Verizon has a similar WiFi hub - available right now at Best Buys for $1 with 2yr....etc. I have one, works well, is much smaller, and has a SIM card so is ready for international use. Not 4G but that's not available most places and never will be where I live.

I know, everyone has one of these things now... I liked this one because it's BOTH 4G & 3G, and they carry their 3G service on Verizon so you get the most for your money.
