Seems to have made it to my list of updates, but of the 5 "important" updates, win7 only selected IE9 by default. Anyone do SP1, and is it dangerous?

I have SP1 on my CF-51 and no problems here but wish I didn't upgrade to IE9 . I do not like it at all.

I'm thinking chrome. Still need IE for a lot of mission critical work though. Decisions... What sucked about 9?

I just don't like how it looks and runs and I find it's slower. I have 3 51's and I only upgraded 1 of them to IE9. Pages load faster in the old one I find.

They have to change the look and move stuff around. How else would you know it was "improved?"

Service pack works fine, i havent noticed any speed improvements as i did when i went with XP sp3 but no issues. IE9 i got for the heck of it i dont use it, but it does seem improved and the speed is definitely noticeable however, CHROME is still the best i say.

I am using a cf 30 with it

I'm using SP1 at home and on the work machine and they both have had zero issues. No IE 9 on the work machine though.

+1 for the IE 9 sucks vote. They moved and changed stuff just to make it look more streamlined it seems, but I hate the new interface and I end up staring blankly at it for several seconds every time I try to find even basic things like favorites. And on my home machine it seems way slower than 8 was. It hangs for almost a full second or more on most page loads and constantly hassles me to disable my antivirus link scanner to improve speed. It never caused any issues with 8, so what gives Micro$oft?

There are a lot of sites that won't run on Chrome. Two I use every day. I don't care if they run on Firefox. Talk about a pita. That thing, when I tried it, required attention to some update or other every time I used it.
