While networking forum was indeed a correct one to post this question, Panasonic is a specific brand with its own community, so I thought it would be best to move it to Panasonic sub-forum where you have best chances of getting help.

I hope @toughasnails doesn't mind, if so let me know and I'll move it back.

I had to change the last letter to an M to get the specs. The last letter just indicates the country it was sold in.

    Model Number: CF-19FDLAXCM
    Status:...DISCONTINUED
    MSRP: $3,975
Description: WinXP Tablet (Vista COA), Intel Core 2 Duo U7500 1.06GHz (Centrino), 10.4" XGA with Digitizer, 80GB, 2GB, Intel WiFi a/b/g/n, Dual Pass (UpperWWAN/Lower:WLAN), TPM, Bluetooth, No Drive

Look in the taskbar on the lower right. Do you see the Bluetooth icon? is it blue or red?

Go to bios and see if it's turned on or off. Then reset bios to defaults. Then save and reboot. That can at times solve some wifi problems but I don't know if it will help bluetooth.

A little advice...stay away from them. They will only mess up your laptop.

    yeah ...
    the let-us-fix-yer-comp-problems (f)utilities are worthless .
many of them dupe you into "buying" a service for *fixing* non-existent problems .
the others are a payload vector for god-knows-what kinds of malware and viruses .
i have repaired many comps that those "tuneup utilities" have happened to .

ccleaner is mostly safe ... one can still wind up in trouble .
i recommend turning off all "monitoring" functions .
make a folder right on the "C" drive to stash the registry backups in .

One thing I don't like is the new version of Ccleaner has a new process that starts and keeps running when you start your pc to monitor. I have been using a older version in my installs. I think it's around version 5 when they started that.

might be a weird question?,has anyone downgraded from vista back to xp sp3?,reason i ask is ive seen someone elses toughbook cf-18,running win xp and only 1gb ram and it boots loads faster than the one ive been working on with 4gb ram, core 2 duo,win vista basic!.never downgraded anything before,so not sure if its even possible?,or wipe and start a fresh, only thing is being able to get the car diagnostics(delphi) software on it again?,they bought it with software installed :-(

Have you tried tweaking it for speed before? If now we can show you a few things. It has 4gb of ram you say? What drive?

yes as i said i ran a few tuneup utilities, made it a little quicker but then had a nightmare with loosibg bluetooth and finding the right drivers to get it going again! :-( .
it has 4gb ram,750gb hardrive (think its 5400rpm?).i wanted to clone everything to a smaller ssd but wouldnt do it through the available usb port, would mean taking the drive out and putting in my pc etc,its for a freinds garage so couldnt have too long on it.i can get it back at some stage(over weekends when not needed).
just seems to take forever to boot, and lags when trying to open programs etc.cheers

    yeppers ...
i was a broadcast engineer for many years ...
