I recently purchased a new wireless card (Ubiquiti SR71-C with 802.11n support) for my CF-18 because with the flush-mounted antenna connectors, I though I might be able to insert the card in the slot and still be able to latch the covering door after hooking up the antenna cables. Unfortunately, the right-angle MMCX connectors are a bit too large to be able to latch the door shut.

Is there a source for right-angle MMCX connectors that don't protrude as much, or are there any other suggestions?

Given the limited selection of PCMCIA cards that are fully functional with the door latched closed, I thought this allocation might free internal resources for other mods, but if I can't get the door closed, I might be back to square 1.

    Thank you.
