    USB 3.0?
    Smartcard (Security) reader
    GPS
    Fingerprint reader

I went with USB 2.0 and a sd memory card reader. Now I got a mk3 mb to swap in, I won't need the extra usb port in the pcmcia card. I am using the internal usb for a TV setup.
I installed a oem bluetooth from a mk1. I have wifi built in and no need for wwan at the moment although I do have a SBC sony edge pcmcia card.
I might actually leave slot 2 open for now.

Add memory adapter cards that adapt to compact flash , and other formats
With a PCMCIA/compact flash adapter you can add a common compact flash GPS etc

The compact flash standard is common on older PDA's
Now they are smaller and using SD type, but it was quite common as it takes less space than pcmcia
