Has anyone used one??
We tried ine in a Thinkpad X61 Tablet and the speeds were HORRIBLE, quite a bit slower than using USB.
I am using this with 2 64GB SSDs in RAID-0

X61 has had a 2.14 bios update to improve the cardbus speed. Corrects something to do with it's the Ricoh R5C847 cardbus controller. HP 2510P that uses the same controller shows up to 70MB/s pcmcia e-sata data transfers as shown here. - 
 
Right, but the question is about performance on a CF-29.
I was wondering if it was worth using.
The X61t is no longer among the living PC world, which is why we switched to Toughbooks.
