    i was wonding if the hard drive from a panasonic cf28stjgzdm-g would fit any
    other panasonic models.

    Do you mean the bare drive or the drive and the caddy?

    I mean the bare drive, i could find another caddy if need be....its just that my cf28 is long in the tooth but alot of the parts are still very good and could probably be swapped into a new machine.

    Sorry about that. Yes it can fit in others. The CF-29 for one. The drive is not special...it can fit in other brands of laptops too but not the newer laptops. They are SATA. Not really worth a lot.

    yeah ... the ol' double linear pincushion has gone the way of high-button shoes .
    good paperweight though .

    CF18's I think use the same type of drive as the 28's? Been a while so could be wrong.

    Correct,IDE drives. I seem to have accumulated a pile of them in the past few months if anyone needs one. They are also tested.
